Made in Portugal

Made In Portugal was a guerilla dining experience celebrating Portuguese design and by extension Portuguese culture.

Held in a historic building by Castelo São Jorge our invited artists and designers showcased a variety of creative processes and specialties highlighting the high level of creativity present in contemporary Portuguese design and the resulting products.

In the early 1900s, the property served as one of the main foundries in Lisbon with sweeping views of the Tagus.

It still retains its main furnace, which served as a central component of the dining experience where a 4 course menu featuring locally sourced produce was cooked over the open fire.
